 Monthly Meetings

Our club holds its monthly meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Maddies Pub and Grub in Johnston City, IL.  Most members arrive around 6:30pm to have dinner, the meeting starts at 7:00pm. Meetings generally last one hour or less.

 Spring Hunt Test

 Our Spring '11 Hunt Test will be held Saturday April, 30th-Sunday, May 1st. Click on MAP above for premium and directions to the site.

 Fall Hunt Test

We hope everyone had a great time at the Fall Hunt Test.  We hope to see you again at our Spring Test.

SIHRC currently has two hunt tests per year, spring and fall. The success of these hunts comes from our hard working club members, volunteers and families.

We also like to have fun within our club.  Each year we gather for several BBQ's and a holiday party.

We participate each year at the John A. Logan Hunting and Fishing days to demonstrate the various skill levels of the dogs within our club.  Click the photos link for pictures of last year's demonstration.

 Training Sessions

Training sessions are held at Doug and Shannon Johnson's house on 1st, 3rd and 4th Tuesday of the month at approximately 6:00pm.

Weather and the amount of daylight can affect training sessions.

No training sessions during duck season.
